ACCESSIBILITY
Accessibility statement
We aim to make our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 Level AA.
What we have done
This site was built with accessibility as a core requirement:
- Semantic HTML so screen readers can understand the page
- Keyboard navigation that works without a mouse
- Colour contrast that meets AA standards for low-vision readers
- Respect for your operating system’s reduced-motion setting
- Alt text on photographs so screen readers describe images
- Skip links to jump directly to main content
- Responsive design that works on any screen size and zoom level up to 400 percent
- A quote form that works with assistive technology
Standards we follow
This site aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. If you are in Ontario, we also follow the spirit of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
Known limitations
We are aware of the following accessibility considerations:
- Our quote form is processed by a third-party service. We can’t control every aspect of how it renders, though we’ve tested submission with screen readers and keyboard navigation.
- Photographs on the Recent Work page are decorative; the captions describe the project rather than the photo composition.
- The map link to Google Maps takes you to Google’s own page, where Google’s accessibility features apply.
We are actively working to identify and minimize accessibility barriers. If you encounter something that does not work for you, please tell us so we can investigate.
Tell us if something does not work
